There’s consistency bias, but that’s mostly about us retroactively fitting our beliefs and attitudes to past situations so that we may come across as “someone who always listens to people” etc.

Then, there’s status quo bias, which is our tendency to want for things to remain the same. I’m sure this affects our actions in a way that makes sure they do.

But for the belief that things will stay the same, not sure if I’ve seen a specific bias yet!
