That's true! I could have worded that better. "Not needed" from the perspective of your future self who's done all that work and can just deal with the emotions without explicitly going to the model is different from, well, "not needed." :D And of course, just like that model helps you along the way, it might help others do the same. That's why they're worth sharing, even if we don't rely on them forever.
