I think this is key and sort of where I’m getting at with this article.

… other’s strengths and accomplish more in our ministry than we could possibly have done separately. We each were were willing to give 100% to the other, and that willingness meant it normally averaged out in the middle. Twenty one years and we were still growing together.
I recently lost my husband of 21 years to ALS and FTD -a Rapidly progressing dementia.
