I did this for 9 months when I first moved to Munich. I’d share some thoughts in the morning, then document the rest of the day in pics. It felt like making my own little TV show for family and friends, which was fun.
I got tired of it because some days, I just didn’t feel like sharing, whether things were good or bad. Some moments you just want to have to yourself. However, framing it as a gratitude practice is a good way to avoid making it too professional.
Also, I think taking times off in between, or maybe one no-stories-day a week might help long-term. I think I’ll pick this up again some time. I really do want to give it another go!
