These are great words of wisdom for someone who is becoming to live. Would you have any advice for those who packed the emotions in a bag and lost the bag somewhere on the road? What would you think about the people who don’t have any feelings left and are still trodding along happily, or so they believe? I want to return to being emotional, however painful it could be.
Hey Victoria Muzychuk, thanks for the great question! I’ve been a very emotional and sensitive person for as long as I can remember, so I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer this, but I think “trodding along happily without emotions” is somewhat of a paradox, no? It sounds like you may feel as if life is a bit dull, maybe you crave novelty or intensity. These are important, but you can’t take them in too big gulps either. Maybe try to break some routines, sign up for something you’ve never tried, or spend time with someone in nature or an unfamiliar environment. See what that triggers, which of your emotions wake up, and if the overall experience adds to your happiness or subtracts from it. Then, go from there. Hope that’s somewhat useful.
