Good point! I’ve done my own share of academic writing and I know sometimes it’s better for the actor to take a back seat. But most of my writing lives on Medium and co. where most articles are ultimately about the person writing them. And then active voice helps, I find! Thanks for giving a really good example of where it might pay to use passive voice!
