And I guess in that moment, I had a realization: I told the room I liked when people around me failed or complained. I liked knowing that I would do the things they said they wouldn’t or couldn’t do.
Fascinating! I think I do the same. On the one hand, complaining annoys me, on the other I think “awesome, less competition.” Not in this literal sense, but that’s the underlying idea.
I wonder what the appropriate response to complaining is. What helps the person complaining, rather than the person hearing the complaint.
